The Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District will co-host an event that brings 100 fourth and fifth graders together to learn about the importance of exercise and healthy living. On Saturday, October 16 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., HCISD and the Junior League of Harlingen will host the one day event at Sam Houston Elementary. Students from four HCISD elementary schools — Crockett, Jefferson, Means and Sam Houston — will be participating in six different events that all deal with healthy living.
Crockett Elementary students and their dads came together Wednesday for some lunch time fun. The school released its students to their dads and provided them to the Boys & Girls Club for lunch and games.
